How Lekemi GPS tracker work?

Lekemi GPS Tracker is a completely automatic smart GPS Tracking system via 4G network.

Let’s start with what you find in the kit: 1 GPS Tracker and 1 USB cable for Charging.

The entire system is coordinated by the Tracker which encloses an advanced motion sensor, a GPS satellite receiver and an build-in SIM that connects to the Internet.To maximize battery life, the Tracker stays in standby mode when the car is in still. This means that Tracker will track your position continuously in every 20s on only when you are driving your car or vehicle, but will always be ready to react to a possible theft attempt in your absence.

DRIVING
You are moving and driving your vehicle

When your vehicle is starting, the Tracker will verify the vibration and it will send you a vibration alarm notice on Lekemi GPS app even if the app is not running in background. Then the Tracker will shift from standby mode to tracking mode(update GPS location in every 30s). It will track your position while driving. You can check them in the history playback sections.You can also setup a speed limit and get alarm if your driving speed is over that limit.

PARKING
You parked and left your vehicle

Once your vehicle is parked, the Tracker does not sense any vibration and it will get in standby mode after several minutes. The last position on the map of Lekemi GPS app is where your vehicle parked. This will protect the battery life and keep a long standby. But the tracker will send you vibration alarm when it detect any vibration.

ALARM
An unidentified suspect attempts to move your vehicle

Lekemi GPS switches from Standby mode to Tracking mode if someone is move your car or vehicle. Within one minute you receive an Alarm notification and your App starts tracking the vehicle, allowing you to locate the thief. The App will show you its position, direction and speed in real time.

DIFFERENT WORKING MODES

Standard mode

This is the default mode. The tracker will always remain online even when it is inactive, and receiving appropriate alarms if they have been set. The location is updated every 20 seconds as long as the user are driving the car. Battery consumption slightly higher than Eco mode.

Eco mode

The tracker goes offline after 10 minutes of inactivity and wakes up via vibrations, receiving appropriate alarms if they have been set. The location is updated every 20 seconds as long as the tracker remains online.

Smart mode

Compared to the former two modes, it is possible to manually set a location update interval ranging from 5 minutes to 720 minutes.

BATTERIES AND RECHARGE

The Tracker encloses a rechargeable battery via USB Type-C. To charge it, use a mobile power supply or a Power bank with a capacity 10,000mAH. The red led stay fixed during charging and it turns off when fully charged.
The status of the Tracker’s battery is displayed in the front page of Lekemi GPS app. By the way, as soon as the charge is low, you will be notified via App.
